Quote from entry: "Im trying my damndest to be the nicest most altruistic person i can and im getting **** on. People think im weird, women have gotten offended when ive opened doors for them....suspicious about any act of kindness as if it were a crime or the person doing it has ulterior motives. This makes me a bit depressed as it shows how far we have gotten away from caring about other people...So far in fact that when you make sure someone is all right or try to lend a helping hand, people shun you....They either look at you oddly, avoid you, get mad at you for doing it, or get offended...."
I find this sad! I suppose it simply comes from the extremes of feminism, that whole Absolute Gender Equality thing. Well d00d, I'd just like to say that not all females are like that-- I myself appreciate it when/if a guy does those little things for me, opening doors and such. In fact, it's one of the biggest factors (for me) for choosing a guy: kindness. Furthermore, I've fallen for a guy (this is current) because he's such a nice guy. Really. And he's not only a gentleman-- he's a sincere one. I can't explain this in words, but when he opens the door for people, he means it. And he's humble, and really shy and clueless about relationships (which is cute!!! :P), and...uhm... off-topic. Ehehehe. Anyways! I just wanted to say that I found your entry sad, and I hope you'll get more positive responses from your being a nice guy. Good luck!
